My Beautiful Province

My Beautiful Province is Nong Khai Province. Nong Khai Province is a small province in the northernmost of the northeastern provinces of Thailand. It is near Udon Thani province,Sakon Nakhon province, Loei province and Nong Bua Lam Phu province.Nong Khai lies on the southern bank of the Mekong River. It is far from Vientiane, the capital of Laos only 20 km.

Nong Khai province is subdivided into nine districts . The districts are further subdivided into 62 subdistricts and 705 villages. nine districts are 1.Mueang Nong Khai 2.Tha Bo 3.Phon Phisai 4.Si Chiang Mai 5.Sangkhom 6.Sakhrai 7.Fao Rai 8.Rattanawapi and 9.Pho Tak.

My Province has many places which are very Beautiful and very interesting for all people. For example 1. Wat Pho Chai It has Luangpho Phra Sai, Luangpho Phra Sai is a sacred Buddha image of Nong Khai Province which is respected by all people of Thailand ,Who visit there. Luangpho Phra Sai is consecrated Buddha image.people of Nong Khai always hold a rocket merit-making fair or Bun Bang Fai to worship Luangpho Phra Sai in Every year on the full moon day in the seventh lunar month.

2. Tha Sadet Market It is the modern Market. It has products from Indochina and Eastern Europe, for example dried food,kitchenware, processed food, clothes,electric appliances, and watches. all products are not expensive. But they are the most quality products. When you go to Tha Sadet Market. You will feel impressive with people of Nong Khai Province. They are very friendly with traveler or their customer. They smile very Beautiful,They speak very melodic.

After that Tha Sadet Market has delicious food for example green papaya salad,burn fish, fry sausage, order food. price is inexpensive.

3.Prap Ho Monument It is monument for reminiscent people Who suppress HO ,rebellious elements to Chinese rule from the Yunnan area swept south through Laos and in to Thailand Between 1884 and 1886,

"Anu Savari Festival" is a worshipping ceremony and fair to celebrate the defeat of the rebellions and to pay respect to those who lost their lives during the conflict is held every year.

On Anu Savari Festival it has many products for example processed food,kitchenware,electric appliances, watches and clothes. 4. Sala Kaeo Ku or Wat Khaek Located on Phonpisai Road in the Mueang Nong Khai Municipality, Sala Kaeo Ku is where religious statues ,The history of the Buddha which is interested by the people of Nong Khai,and people from any province.In Sala Kaeo Ku It has many Buddha image and religious statues of Hindu. They are very beautiful and invaluable of Nong Khai Province.It far from Nong Khai Province about 6 km.

You can go to Sala Kaeo Ku by car or taxi. it has big fish in the basin. You can give food for them. Sala Kaeo Ku open 08.30 am. - 16.00 pm. everyday. 5.Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge

It is the first bridge from Thai to Lao. Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge is a bridge over the Mekong, connecting Vientiane prefecture in Lao with Nong Khai province and the city of Nong Khai in Thailand. Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge is very beautiful. and it is slogan of Nong Khai province.it was designed & built by Australian companies as a demonstration of their ability to complete major infrastructural projects in Southeast Asia.

Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge open 08.30 am - 22.00 pm. everyday.

Nong Khai Province is my Beautiful Province. Because it is special city for live 7 level of the world. If you have free time welcome to Nakha city or Nong Khai Province.
